RoscoN supports investors, operators and developers in identifying suitable sites across Europe, assessing feasibility and securing access to the land. Our services range from a simple search for possible plots all the way to development into a turn key data center.
RoscoN combines market analysis, infrastructure and energy assessments with a strong network of local partners to find sites with optimal power availability, high-performance connectivity and suitable framework conditions. Our goal: reduce development risk, shorten project timelines and secure locations that enable the long-term, scalable operation of modern data centers.
Several projects are already in active development, at different stages ranging from the initial site assessment to the operator ready handover.

Modern software products are becoming increasingly complex, while at the same time the demands for clear, up to date and easily accessible documentation keep rising. Our AI-assisted software documentation helps companies create technical content faster, maintain it consistently and tailor it optimally for different audiences.
By applying artificial intelligence, we support development teams and technical writers in the automated creation, structuring and updating of documentation. Existing technical information from code, specifications or internal knowledge sources is intelligently analyzed and turned into understandable developer, user or operations documentation. The result: more efficient processes, consistent content and technical information that is always up to date.

Agentic AI opens up new possibilities for companies to make complex work processes more efficient and to support employees in a targeted way. RoscoN helps organizations systematically understand and productively apply the potential of modern AI agents.

DataCenter Master Award on November 4
On November 4, the DataCenter Master Award will be presented, recognizing outstanding scientific work in the field of data centers. RoscoN is following the submissions with great interest and will be represented on site.
Burgenland publishes its own data center guidelines
With new data center guidelines, the state of Burgenland, like other Austrian states before it, is creating its own state-specific regulatory framework for the development and approval of data center projects.
RoscoN website relaunch
After our consulting focus clearly shifted toward data center development over the past years, it is now time to showcase this expertise with a website relaunch as well. Given the scale and importance of our data center projects, RoscoN is now a GmbH rather than a sole proprietorship.
Developments in the Austrian data center landscape
Google begins construction of its data center in Kronsdorf. If well supported politically, this project can become a flagship project in the Austrian market and build operator confidence for future projects and investments.
New Electricity Act complicates power reservation
The new Austrian Electricity Industry Act (Elektrizitätswirtschaftsgesetz) brings significantly stricter rules for reserving available grid capacity. Grid operators such as Netz Niederösterreich, Wiener Netze and ABG face new challenges in planning and committing connection capacity for data center projects as a result.
Amendment to Lower Austria's spatial planning act affects data center developers
The amendment to the Lower Austrian Spatial Planning Act (NÖ Raumordnungsgesetz) introduces a dedicated land use category for data centers. For data center developers, this creates new requirements for zoning and site selection that must be factored into project planning at an early stage.
